Product Description
The OM1006 Ethernet switch has four 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ electrical ports and two optical SFP ports. Each RJ45 PoE port can provide up to 30W.
The SFP ports supports a variety of wavelengths, optical speeds, and fiber types depending on which SFP module is installed.
Since both 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-X optics are supported, the optical network may be upgraded to a higher speed at a later time.
Two signal strength bar graphs show received optical link margin. The optical ports can be trunked for increased throughput and redundancy.
The RJ45 ports can be configured as port-based VLANs for traffic segregation. SPAN port monitoring is supported. The dual media converter modes support link pass through.
A USB port is provided for configuration and status.
The unit has redundant power inputs and a contact closure connector for alarms. The OM1006 is enclosed in a rugged metal case for low radiated and conducted emissions.
