  • Converts Bell 202 modem data to Ethernet IP packets
  • Four channels
  • Allows an IP network to connect to remote Bell 202 modems
  • Can be used in traffic control systems

Product Description

The ATC-QCOMM modem server has a single Ethernet port allowing it to use existing IP networks to bring Bell 202 communications closer to the source, often mitigating the need to lease lines from traditional suppliers.

This device also works well in traditional closed loop traffic control systems and allows up to four independent communication lines capable of operating in a multi-drop environment. This will allow up to 32 different traffic signal controllers to be connected to a master, whether that master is located in the field or co-located in the central office.

The unit comes as a standard plug-in module for Luxcom’s ATC3 Traffic Controller, or it can be installed in a small chassis, converting the unit into a stand-alone product.
